Five Broadway productions with announced closing dates sit between this weekend and the first Sunday of January. Two close in November. Three long runs end on the same day, January 3, 2027.

Prices below are the published rush and lottery figures checked October 29. Rush and lottery inventory is limited, and final-week demand usually takes it first.

Nov. 15: School Girls; Or, The African Mean Girls Play

Samuel J. Friedman Theatre. Final performance Sunday, November 15, 2026.

Jocelyn Bioh's play, directed by Whitney White for Manhattan Theatre Club, began previews September 8 and opened September 28. The cast includes Denée Benton, Patina Miller and Jasmine Amy Rogers. The play is set at Aburi Girls Boarding School in Ghana in 1986, around the Miss Ghana pageant.

It is Bioh's Broadway debut production, nine years after the play's Off-Broadway premiere at MCC Theater in 2017. School Girls runs 80 minutes with no intermission.

Cheapest way in: the final week streams. Performances from Tuesday, November 10 through Sunday, November 15 stream as-live at curtain times through the League of Live Stream Theater, with a 24-hour replay after each stream. Stream tickets are $59. The production also runs a digital rush for in-person seats, per the current rush listings.

Longacre Theatre. Final performance Sunday, November 29, 2026.

The two-person musical by Jim Barne and Kit Buchan, directed by Tim Jackson, opened November 20, 2025. At closing it will have played 21 previews and 428 performances. Sam Tutty plays Dougal. Christiani Pitts plays Robin. The production received eight 2026 Tony Award nominations.

A first national tour launches next year from Providence, Rhode Island.

The box office has softened ahead of the closing notice period: in the week ending October 25 the show played to 74.7% of capacity at the Longacre, third-lowest on Broadway that week, per the Broadway League.

Cheapest way in: in-person rush at the Longacre box office, $42, limit two per person, on sale when the box office opens. The show is also a frequent TKTS listing at up to 40% off, subject to same-day availability.

Stephen Sondheim Theatre. Final performance Sunday, January 3, 2027.

& Juliet opened November 17, 2022. At closing it will have played 1,723 regular performances and 20 previews, which places it among the 50 longest-running Broadway musicals. Playbill reports Broadway grosses of more than $175 million to date. It was the first new musical of the 2022-23 season to announce recoupment.

The score is built from Max Martin's catalogue, including "Since U Been Gone," "Roar" and "Baby One More Time."

Cheapest way in: rush at the Sondheim box office, $49, from 10 a.m., with blackout dates possible in the final weeks. The production also lists digital rush and standing room when performances sell out.

Its final weeks start from the weakest base of the three January closings. In the week ending October 25 it played to 70.3% of capacity, the lowest figure on Broadway, with the lowest average ticket among the week's musicals and plays at $78.89.
