The Old Globe in San Diego is filling open temporary production positions across all of its shops, including carpenters, electricians, sound technicians, properties, costumers, and wardrobe staff. These hands-on backstage and shop roles support productions on the Globe's stages in Balboa Park, with flexible schedules that may include nights and weekends depending on production needs. All positions are represented by IATSE Local 122, and applicants must be able to complete and clear a background screening. Interested candidates send a cover letter and resume to the theatre as directed on the employer's job page. This is a standing pool for multiple temporary production hires rather than a single vacancy, so relevant shop or run-crew experience in any listed craft matters most.
