Berkeley Rep is hiring a full-time Head of Wardrobe and Wigs in Berkeley, reporting to the Costume Director. This exempt leadership role oversees the wardrobe, wigs, hair, and makeup crews before, during, and after all seven mainstage productions and special events each season, hiring and training crew and swings, assigning running tracks, choreographing quick changes with stage management, and maintaining the integrity of each design from opening to closing. Responsibilities include daily costume, shoe, and wig care, dressing lists and run paperwork, scheduling and timesheet approval, and strike and shipping of costumes. Candidates need at least three years of professional wardrobe supervision experience, strong sewing and repair skills, and wig, hair, and makeup experience is strongly preferred.
